Awkward

Walking into class late and getting stared down by everyone is awkward. Fluctuating hormones are awkward. Being called on and turning tomato-red because you don't know the answer is awkward. Balancing time is awkward. Knowing stuff about people and not knowing why you know the things you do is awkward. Living in a house with people so different from you is awkward. Being stuck between childhood and adulthood is awkward. Being judged based on physical appearance is awkward. Slamming into Mrs. Beltran's door is awkward. Not knowing where your life is going is awkward. Seeing people walk right past you in the halls who were drunkenly your best friend on Saturday night (bathroom mirror selfies included) is awkward. Being in a relationship and not being trusted with the bedroom door closed is awkward. Forgetting homework assignments is awkward. Autocorrect sending an inappropriate message to your mom is awkward. Receiving scoldings for your opinions is awkward. Being a teenager is awkward, and inevitably so...
